Our Richardson, TX client is seeking an Accounting/Administrative Assistant for their CFO. Previous experience in an Oil & Gas company is ideal but not required. Candidate must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. This is a contract to possible hire opportunity.
Duties:
Support CFO with the following:
Basic administrative duties such as answering phones, filing, sending faxes, scanning, etc.
Basic Accounting duties such as processing invoices; presentation and report preparation; meeting arrangements, preparation and completion; file maintenance; budget preparation and maintenance, etc.
Requirements:
At least an associate (two-year) degree or equivalent experience.
2-5 years experience in an Accounts Payable and Administrative position
Oil & Gas experience is a plus but not required
Proficient with Excel, Word, and QuickBooks
Strong work ethic

Professional and dedicated

Responsibilities:

Review documents for all requested items and signatures

Calculate and process quarterly share repurchase plan

Assist Director with daily/weekly reporting and special projects as needed

Assist Team Members with quality check of new investments for multiple funds

Follow up with monthly distribution questions and/or procedures

Assist Director with quarterly/annual/tax reporting and distributing of collateral material

Support investors and/or representatives
